VBL: Who is coming to the Grand Final? 128 professionals in front of the play

With the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) Club Championship by Bevestor, the first national title has already been awarded, RB Leipzig secured the German club championship at the end of March. In the coming days, the fight for the individual championship is now becoming a speed.

On May 7th and 8th, a total of 128 players will compete in the play-offs-104 of them have secured participation in the play-offs in the past few months via the VBL Open and the Community Cups. There are also 24 professionals from the VBL Club Championship.

The game is initially played in the Swiss system: In the first round, the players are drawn to a random opponent, then they meet with the same number of victories achieved in four other rounds. The game is played in the first and second leg- if you are subject three times, you leave the play-offs.

The first four Swiss rounds will be played on Saturday: from 2 p.m. on PlayStation 5, from 6 p.m. on Xbox Series X | s. The fifth round will follow from 4 p.m. on Sunday, before the top 16 players per console will compete in the double elimination bracket.

The best 8 players per console make the leap into the Grand Final, which will be held on June 4th and 5th as an offline event in Cologne. The 16 best players from the VBL Club Championship, including defending champion Umut 'rblz_umut' Gültekin from RB Leipzig, already have their ticket in their pockets.
