Premier League: Manchester United makes debts again
The cash register is also wrong: Manchester United has once again identified losses in its worst season since the Premier League was introduced in 1992. In the first three months of this year, the English football record champion increased its turnover by 29.2 percent compared to the same period of the same period of £ 152.8 million (179.5 million euros), but was still unable to report any profits.
Rather, from January to March 2022, Manchester United pounded (25.6) of liabilities. The total amount increased to £ 495.7 million (582.42), which corresponds to an increase of 11.8 percent within twelve months. One of the reasons for this are the salaries that, according to the club, rose by 20 percent to £ 102 million (119.8) for the first quarter of the year. Manchester United had ranked sixth in the past season and only got 58 points-so few than ever since the Premier League was founded.
